I am afraid that I have bad news for you: if you do not know the difference between Check and Do not check in SU24, and cannot be bothered to search for this exceptionally well documented ( as in, 10 pages of search results) information yourself. we would all be better off if you were working in something other than SAP security. This is how customers can end up with unqualified and unproductive poseurs on our projects, who create messes that other consultants then have to come in and clean up.
As for the most important question, you have already amply demonstrated your lack of familiarity with the basics of SAP security. Please postpone going into SAP security or reconsider your career path until such time as you learn how to familiarize yourself with the basics at a bare minimum.
