SAP DBCO to connect DB2 in other SERVER

Hi Guru,

I need your expertise.

Our SAP and DB2 Database is currently installed in ONE SERVER. It is installed on Windows Server 2008 R2. By the way, we are in Virtual environment using Hyper-V(Windows SERVER 2008 R2 Enterprise).

Now, I want to separate DB2 and SAP because we are planning to have a HA-DR(High Availability and Disaster Recovery). I want to put SAP App Server in one Server and DB2 Database in another Server.

I found Tx DBCO in SAP. Can I configure this so that SAP will point to DB2 database which is in different server?

We are using SAP NW 7.
