     Can you clear the concept of YTD.

i.e

If i post data accordingly.

      JUL     AUG     SEP     Q3

XX  100     100        200     200  -->  i am not posting data on SEP month logic data should                                                             be Q3 = SEP = JUL + AUG but SEP = JUL+AUG is not working.

IF data is posted manually on SEP then Q3 will pick data from SEP month.Then what is the use of YTD Measure.
