      For your 1 st question:     If you fall in Quadrant 1 & 2 yes. If you fall in Quadrant 3 & 4 then No.

      For your 2nd Quesion:  It cannot be a staright forward answer because there are lot of things to compare.In short HANA live will be realtime operational reporting,BW will be for Historical,Agrregated or consolidated reporting.The real difference  can be realized only with lots of experience,May be sometime I will try to post my experience in a Blog.
